Adorable Little Bear...no, its Shane! :)

Our dear friends, Jason and Jessica, got Shane this bear outfit. They looked for a pink bunny outfit, similar to Ralphie's number in 'A Christmas Story' - but to Shane's advantage - they couldn't find one. SO....they got him this instead! Too damn cute..... :) Thanks J & J! We love & miss you both! xo

p.s. my GOSH is Shane getting TONS of presents....Uncle Colson and Aunt Des got him lots of awesome stylish clothes! Aunt Jan and cousin Savanna got him adorable clothes, a teether toy, Baby Einstein DVD, socks, and they got Daddy and I matching Shane shirts! LOVE 'EM! (I'll take a pic and post it soon!) Mom-Mom got him a V-Smile baby system to play educational games on! (AND money for his savings acct!).....aunts and cousins and our grandparents got him toys, $$, clothes.... AND its only 10am here, we haven't even gone to Shane's Grandma and Grandpa's yet (Eric's parents).... geez a lou!

The boy is loved and blessed and it makes me cry, literally....

Shane's First Visit with Brittany, Kevin, and Anthony!

No, you aren't imagining anything, Shane was a tiny peanut here. These were taken when he was just barely 3 weeks old! :) The lovely chicka in this pic is Eric's cousin Kim's oldest daughter, Brittany. (Eric is Brittany's godfather, too) So, this is a very special picture to us.

Here are Brittany's twin brothers, Kevin and Anthony! They loved Shane's tiny feet... & thought he was so cute. But, Brittany wasn't giving Shane up, so they weren't "allowed" to hold him, LOL! (typical big sister... ;)

Shane met his *only* uncle (my 'little' brother Colson) for the first time! He came out for a 4 day visit, & left this afternoon. It went waaay too quickly BUT we had such a great time together. Of COURSE, Colson LOVED his adorable lil nephew (who doesn't!?) lol... :) & can't wait til the next time he sees him again.

Our Little Man is 4 months old!!

Shane's First Halloween!

Shane was the cutest penguin ever and Daddy carved the scariest, coolest pumpkin ever! We made it to four houses then Shane said "get this frikkin goofy thing OFF of me." Well. Not really. He screamed and turned beat red, flailed his arms about and such. As soon as the costume was off, he mellowed. Daddy is going to eat the candy Shane received, obviously, BUT his Grandparents got him a cute lil halloween bag w/ a Baby Einstein toy and a new sleeper (God, babies grow SO quickly!) So, Shane didn't "walk" away empty handed. BIG shock. :)

OK, so here Shane looks just like Eric, I gotta say...

I'm not "sick" of hearing that Shane looks like his Daddy, per say, just most times I really don't see it. He looks like himself. He looks like Shane. BUT.... in these pictures, I immediately saw the total resemblance. Pretty cool stuff!

Still can't believe how handsome our lil guy is...

Three months old already.... hard to believe! Well, sort of. It feels like time is dragging especially & specifically when Shane is in the middle of a screaming fit. We don't like those. lol. BUT on the flipside, it feels like time is flying when I think back at this time last year - JUST finding out that I was pregnant and the whole awesome experience just starting. NOW we have a 3 month old beautiful, healthy baby boy. He really is fascinated with his little hands and is starting to hold objects, i.e. his pacifier, his stuffed baby sea turtle named Honu, his blanket, etc. I don't know if its too early, but he is drooling a lot and chews on just about everything, which leads us to believe that teething is somewhere around the corner. (fun, fun) :) Last night at bathtime, Shane laughed harder then he ever has, so far, and let me tell you, I am addicted to that sound. I do every stupid, idiotic antic I can think of to get him to laugh. Hardly ever works. He laughs when he feels like it, the little bugger. Then, it figures, I'll be talking to him about totally random crap, just engaging him in convo... "Mommy is making a strawberry jam sandwich"... and he smiles big and giggles. Don't get me wrong. Sandwich IS a funny word. I always thought so, but compared to my goofy antics, forget it. Just goes to show ya... they have minds of their own at the starting gate. Cool stuff.
