Travel Town w/Dad :)

Julia is 9 months old!

(9 months old ALREADY!) I know she's still little, but.... gosh, I could cry.....

SLOW DOWN KIDS! lol

She is SO precious. And goodness, OH so different from Shane. Needs almost constant attention. Going through that stage where I can't be out of the room or pretty much out of eye sight. Or she lets me know it. She has a temper - a BAD temper. Wouldn't know it by looking at her, I know. Looks like a little cherub - dont let her fool you. :) She IS teething, so I'll give her a break. lol Her two bottom teeth are OUT almost all the way with more coming in - slowly. That can't feel good, poor lil thing.

She is just so darn cute! Her chubby cheeks get a LOT of attention, as I'm sure you can imagine. People wanna touch her all the time, which kinda bugs me out. Oh, lol, every once in a while some dumb person will ask if I'm concerned b/c she's chubby. She's NINE months old. I just smile and ask "should I crush up some Hydroxycut and throw it in her bottle? Or perhaps put her on Atkins?" They usually pick up on the sarcasm.

OK - times up. Julia is 'calling' me. :)

Shane's Visit to The Fire Station!

The MOMS Club that I belong to had our annual Fire Station visit & tour. Shane was too young to go last year, so we were REALLY lookin forward to it this year! HE LOVES trucks - all trucks, all cars, anything with an engine, really. The fire fighters were excellent with the kids. They gave them fire safety tips, a packet of info and pages to color, their own Junior Fire Fighter 'badges' (stickers) and firemen temporary tattoos. The firemans jacket was far too heavy for Shane to try on, but they let him try on a hat! (SOOO cute) He didn't want to leave; he would have stayed for hours just looking at & touching the truck and pointing at all the gear. He was VERY excited and very interested! "Oh, WOOOW, fire truck!"
This is really a great age. :)
