My friend Yvonne came to visit us! (she lives in MA) It was the first time she met Shane & Julia. They loved each other immediately. No shock really. She is one of my favorite people on earth and they must have felt it.

One of the last pics ever taken of Shane with his beloved binky, actually. Happy and sad to be honest. Its SUCH a big part of his baby days - gone. (typing that just made my eyes fill up) BUT he gave it up SO easily (WAY easier then we imagined. I mean, come on, you've followed this blog. HOW many pics are there of Shane and his binks. LOTS) Anyway! At least now I don't have to tolerate listening to everyone and their brother weigh in on the subject. I was about to have a t-shirt made that read "F**k off. He'll give it up when he's good and ready." ;) I'm such a sweetheart, aren't I?
I mean... really. I can barely stand it. He is usually so silly, but not with his guitar.

zara had her binki until she was 2 1/2 and only gave it up because she gave it to the dog and we told her the dog ate it.. Zach sucked his thumb for FOREEVER!!!!! I can't even remember when he stopped. I used to have to order Zara's binki's online to make sure we had enough for when she lost it.. so whatever to all those people... love the pics... they are getting so cute
