Trike-A-Thon for St. Jude's!

The kids participated in a trike-a-thon in support of the children at St. Jude's. It was very hot, about 95F, but they pedaled hard and had fun. Shane is starting to understand charity, not just thinking of others but DOING something for others. No act of kindness is ever wasted.  :)

Goodbye to Preschool!

Shane's last day of preschool was June 6th. They did a pre-K program for parents, family, etc. It was adorable! My favorite part was Shane's speaking part - "Please stand for the pledge of allegiance!" and when they sang "oh we're ready, oh we're ready, Kindergarten here we come. we are looking so happy cuz school will be fun!" he was a little sad to say goodbye to Miss Nikki and Miss Trisha, but he is excited for Kindergarten in August! They ended their last day with an ice cream party. Very cute, very fun..... and bittersweet for mom and dad. :)

Shane and his good friend Elliot. They have been friends since the age of 2-1/2.

Beautiful things and crafts

Eric's Grandma worked on this lovely needlepoint for Julia through-out my pregnancy. She added the name, date, and weight shortly after. It's hanging in Julia's room & will be cherished forever.
A clay print of Shane's tiny hand when he was just 4 weeks old.
J's St Patty's craft!
Shane's shamrock that he made at school :)
He did the cutting himself!

I mean, really.... How does this happen?

Shane - 21 months
4-1/2 yrs old
(sleepyhead ready for bed)
It seems to move slowly at times, then when you really get a moment to pause and reflect... it really does go quickly. Thank God they are still peanuts! :)

Can someone tell me - how does this happen?

Julia - 2 weeks

Christmas 2011!

Just now getting a chance to post some pics from our Christmas season. Christmas morning, christmas night, Disneyland (more to come) and a moms club christmas party. We had a WONDERFUL Christmas. The kids are at that perfect age where every part is magical. :)
