Our baby girl is TWO!

Julia Grace!
A few fun facts:
- wears 2T in almost everything, but fits 3T
- says about 100 words clearly
- can say 4-5 word sentences
- says 'excuse me' 'thank you' 'sorry' 'please' without being told (most of the time)
- loves strawberries, pudding, turkey, waffles, eggs, yogurt, pretzels
- will not touch mac n chz or grilled chz
- loves the color purple
- loves books - especially Mo Willems' "Don't Let the Pigeon...." books
- loves to be outside and will try to escape if the door isn't locked
- climbs constantly & seems to have no fear
- tries to dress herself
- is starting to like kisses on lips (she hasn't liked them much til now!)
- says "Beatles song" every night when its bedtime. I sing either Across the Universe, If I Fell, In My Life, Let it Be, or - appropriately - Julia.... then she'll go to sleep
- has no interest in TV other then a minute or two of "Tangled" "Tinkerbell" or the last 13 minutes of "A Hard Days Night"
- has a fireball of a temper but is such a sweetheart

Our monkeys being silly, having fun....

Julia's 2 yr portrait

Julia's 2 yr portrait! This was the only picture that made it... all the others she was in mid-flee or looked totally ticked off. :)

Don't let the sweet face fool you - she is a trouble maker with a capital T! lol

The next time she provides some material, I'll post it here.... surely soon.

But I can't complain..... really. She's gorgeous, spirited, funny, talking up a storm and very independent. Total love bug too - when SHE feels like it. :)

St. Patty's Day

We went to the park for a St Patty's Party today. The kids had shamrock cookies and made little pockets to hold their treasures from the treasure hunt! Shane talked about his treasures for days. He really enjoyed looking for gold coins, kisses, and little trinkets - and the sweet kid shared with his little sister when he saw that she hadn't collected a bunch. (Julia was too busy sitting in the grass eating kisses!) Here's a couple pictures of the kids with their treasure pockets. :)
